Fire protection within the Recycling industry
When inflammable material is crushed, conveyed and stored, the risk of fire increases. The use of renewable sources of energy increases this risk, as these materials usually are dry and need only low ignition energy to ignite. Common materials handled are wooden pellets, peat and agricultural waste. Another energy source is domestic refuge which can be highly inflammable!
