Firefly generally uses the following products in a system designed for the Food industry:

Glow Detector Food (GD FOOD)
This detector is especially designed for monitoring pneumatic conveyer systems and chutes within the Food industry. For protection of risk zones where material occurs in dust clouds, e.g. filters. This detector recognises sparks, hot particles and flames from 400°C (752°F).
Isolation Valve (GIV)
The Firefly isolation valve type GIV has a guillotine design and is intended for installation on pneumatic transport systems. The valve is available in different dimensions up to Ø600 mm. The GIV valve is often used for lean phase processes.
Control Unit (CUE)
Each protection zone is controlled by a control unit type CUE. The CUE has a self-diagnostic function, battery backup, flexibility and is user friendly.
MD FOOD
This MD detector is especially designed for the Food industry. It can be used in enclosed volumes to detect whirling ignition sources.
Isolation Valve (DIV)
The Firefly valve type DIV is a fast acting valve intended for applications where extinguishing with water or gas is unsuitable due to process conditions. The valve is fitted with a spring tensioned pneumatic controller and is available in dimensions up to 500x500 mm. The valve fully diverts in less than 300 ms.
Trend detector (TD)
The TD 250 detector can be used for monitoring pneumatic conveyer systems and chutes. For protection of risk zones where material occurs in layers (e.g. storage silos) and also where material has fairly low ignition temperature. This detector recognises sparks, hot particles and flames from 250°C (482°F).
Isolation Valve Food (DIV FOOD)
The Firefly valve type DIV Food is a fast acting valve intended mainly for food applications where extinguishing with water or gas is unsuitable due to process conditions. The valve is fitted with a spring tensioned pneumatic controller and is available in dimensions from 50x50 mm up to to 200x200 mm. The valve fully diverts in less than 300 ms.
Steam Valve (SV)
The Firefly steam valve type SV/PS is suitable for steam pressures from 10 to 69 bar. It has a full bore and is available in DN15-DN80. The valve is designed for welding or flange mounting direct into the steam line.
